Lumber Futures Any One Interested In Planting Big Leaf Mahogany Trees For Reforestation Purposes Or As An Investment?

Any one interested in planting Big leaf Mahogany Trees for reforestation purposes or as an investment? - lumber futures

Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) tree is scared and needs replanting to conserve the species and have the forest for future use. The wood of the tree (reddish brown) is very exotic, rare, precious and durable. Planting of these trees add value to their land and their wealth increased. It is a long-term investment of 20 to 40 years. So far there is only one functioning plantation mahogany in Fiji and the natural supply of mahogany trees in dry forest.

S. macrophylla and S. Maple I grew up in my children in the Virgin Islands. S. Mahogany high was the demand for reforestation and landscaping, but there was no commercial market of S. macrophylla. Mark to see any number of commercial farms and trees, what I mean. "Plantfinder" for example, lists more than 200 manufacturers and zero macrophylla mahogany. Why resist the trend? I also believe that it mahogany top.
